World Wetlands Day
Activities at Caddo Lake

On February 2nd, the Caddo Lake Clearinghouse1 sponsored a community meeting for World Wetlands Day at the Karnack Community Center. 2011 is the 40th Anniversary of the Ramsar Convention. Topics included new work being done at the lake with invasives, wetland rebuilding and education, among others. 40 people attended and the meeting was covered in the Marshall News-Messenger.
